Palais Esplanade

In the immediate vicinity of the main house – the private hotel Baseler Hof – is the Palais Esplanade, right in the heart of Hamburg.

In this collection of mid-19th century buildings, we welcome you to the 10 bedrooms and suites, and seven functions rooms for up to 200 people.

Somewhat apart from the bustle of the hotel you can enjoy the luxury of the individually styled rooms. Soak in the atmosphere of a building almost 200 years old and experience a meeting with your business partners in the unique environment of the Sarason Salon or dine with friends in the Art Nouveau Salon.

Reside as in Emperor’s times

You do not, as did Emperor Willhelm II, have to get out at the Dammtor station, specially built for state visits, but if you are travelling by train then this is actually the best option to get to us.

Awaiting you are three comfortably furnished bedrooms and seven sophisticatedly decorated suites, all with historical flair. Each room has been individually furnished – fixtures, colours and fabrics have all been chosen to suit the historic building.

The other amenities of a four-star hotel such as sauna, steam bath, fitness room and, of course the Kleinhuis Restaurant as well as the Kleinhuis Bistro and Wine Shop are at your disposal in the main hotel building.
